Surrounded by lush forests, fresh-water lakes and rapid rivers, Lithuania had long been known as the land of highly skilled craftsmen.
The history of WOOL HOUSE began in the interwar period, thanks to our grandparents – they founded a knitwear factory. The winters were cold and bitter, so our warm and carefully knitted sweaters were appreciated and in high demand. Unfortunately, due to Lithuania’s historical circumstances, the successful family business, which had been operating for many years, had to be closed during the Soviet era. The rebirth of WOOL HOUSE occurred in 1988 and continues until the present day.
We grow, change and improve, adapting to the changing context and needs of modern customers. But our core values – a high level of excellence, a focus on quality, and an appreciation of tradition – are as essential to us as they were at the beginning of our history.

Positive wool characteristics
Wool is a natural and most acceptable fiber to human skin, which allows perfect breathability, absorbs and evaporates moisture, regulates body temperature, cools the body in summer, and keeps it warm during winter. Wool hair micro-massage improves blood circulation and accelerates skin regeneration.
High-quality production
It is a cherished long-time result, handwork, inherited knitting traditions, and modern production solutions.
Materiality
Natural wool yarn is produced by our old and reliable partners. Wool yarn is spun according to the required thickness and softness. We purchase Alpaca, Merino, and Mohera yarn directly from Italy’s factories whose quality is high and meets our demanding requirements.

Our knitwear is timeless – the effortless and minimalist silhouettes, calm and earthy colors, natural, high-quality wool materials.
Sustainability
Local production
We produce all knitwear in our own factory in Lithuania. We seek to guarantee fair working conditions and a pleasant environment for our knitters. We believe that every sweater is knitted with love and positive energy.
Low product circulation and no waste
We knit in small quantities, which means that we do not accumulate products in the warehouse and do not discard waste.
Customization
We love various body shapes, so we knit sweaters according to individual orders and customers’ unique needs. Some of you prefer more prolonged than usual sleeves while others wish for a particular size and so on.
Repair
We will repair your sweater purchased from us upon your request. We will shorten the sleeves, forward the buttons, or sew the torn places.
